It is the most elegant and powerfull cuvee in our range, a harmonious blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah that is aged, in one, two, or three-wine barrels for 20 percent . This 18-month ageing process is to “open” the wine , not to “oak” it. 80% is aged in cement tank. There is more substance, greater concentration: the fermentation period is longer and only a few remontages (pump-overs) are required, just to keep the cap (of grape solids) wet. The oldest vine (Carignan) was planted in 1936 ! Several vintages are available : 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and older. Ask us !
